How to convert NOK to HKD
The maths behind a NOK to HKD conversion is one multiplication, no rounding tricks. On 18 August 2026 that rate is 0.832813, so:
HKD = NOK × 0.832813
The inverse holds too: 1.2007 Norwegian Kroner per Hong Kong Dollar. Divide where you multiplied before.
The converter at the top of this page does both directions and updates as you type. Every result is recalculated on the server as well, so the number you see is the number that gets stored.
About the Norwegian Krone and the Hong Kong Dollar
The Norwegian Krone (NOK, symbol kr) is the currency of Norway. The Hong Kong Dollar (HKD, symbol HK$) is the currency of Hong Kong.
Central bank policy on either side tends to move this pair more than anything else. The feed publishes mid-market figures, which is what financial reporting cites. Actual exchange costs a margin on top.
Worked NOK to HKD examples
A price tag. Something marked kr50 comes to 41.6407 HKD. Round to 42 HKD for a quick mental check while you are standing in the shop.
A monthly salary. kr3,000 a month is 2498.44 HKD — useful when you are comparing a job offer across the two markets. Bear in mind the rate moves, so a figure agreed today will not be the figure paid out in six months.
Going the other way. If you are holding HK$1,000 and want to know what it buys in Norwegian Kroner, that is 1200.75 NOK. The converter handles both directions — use the swap button between the two fields.
Watch the margin. At a bureau charging 3%, your kr500 would fetch roughly 403.91 HKD instead of 416.41 HKD. That gap is what the mid-market rate on this page lets you spot.
As of 18 August 2026, 0.832813 Hong Kong Dollars buys what one Norwegian Krone does. That figure is pulled from a public reference feed once a day.
That works out at 83.281331 HKD for 100 NOK. Type a different figure into the converter to see it change as you go.
Almost certainly not. What you see here is the mid-market rate, the midpoint of the market. Every retail provider takes a cut on top of it. The value of knowing the mid-market figure is being able to measure that cut.
