How to convert EUR to CNY
To convert Euros to Chinese Yuan, multiply the amount by the current exchange rate. On 18 August 2026 that rate is 7.8115, so:
CNY = EUR × 7.8115
Going the other way, divide instead of multiply — or multiply by 0.128016, which amounts to the same thing: one Chinese Yuan buys 0.128016 Euros.

About the Euro and the Chinese Yuan
The Euro (EUR, symbol €) is the currency of the eurozone. The Chinese Yuan (CNY, symbol ¥) is the currency of China.
The rate is set by continuous trading, which is why it rarely reads the same two days running. The feed publishes mid-market figures, which is what financial reporting cites. Actual exchange costs a margin on top.

A price tag. Something marked €50 comes to 390.58 CNY. Round to 391 CNY for a quick mental check while you are standing in the shop.
A monthly salary. €3,000 a month is 23434.63 CNY — useful when you are comparing a job offer across the two markets. Bear in mind the rate moves, so a figure agreed today will not be the figure paid out in six months.
Going the other way. If you are holding ¥1,000 and want to know what it buys in Euros, that is 128.02 EUR. The converter handles both directions — use the swap button between the two fields.
Watch the margin. At a bureau charging 3%, your €500 would fetch roughly 3788.6 CNY instead of 3905.77 CNY. That gap is what the mid-market rate on this page lets you spot.
