How to convert GBP to PLN
There is only one number you need to convert GBP to PLN: the rate the market is quoting. On 18 August 2026 that rate is 5.0405, so:
PLN = GBP × 5.0405
Going the other way, divide instead of multiply — or multiply by 0.198395, which amounts to the same thing: one Polish Zloty buys 0.198395 British Pounds.

About the British Pound and the Polish Zloty
The British Pound (GBP, symbol £) is the currency of the United Kingdom. The Polish Zloty (PLN, symbol zł) is the currency of Poland.
Neither currency is pegged to the other, so the figure drifts from one session to the next. The feed publishes mid-market figures, which is what financial reporting cites. Actual exchange costs a margin on top.

A monthly salary. £3,000 a month is 15121.36 PLN — useful when you are comparing a job offer across the two markets. Bear in mind the rate moves, so a figure agreed today will not be the figure paid out in six months.
Going the other way. If you are holding zł1,000 and want to know what it buys in British Pounds, that is 198.39 GBP. The converter handles both directions — use the swap button between the two fields.
Watch the margin. At a bureau charging 3%, your £500 would fetch roughly 2444.62 PLN instead of 2520.23 PLN. That gap is what the mid-market rate on this page lets you spot.
